2024 is the 68th year that the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod Performing Arts Festival will be running in August and September.

An Eisteddfod gives performers of all ages a chance to perform on stage to a professional adjudicator in order to gain valuable experience and receive feedback from the adjudicator. Sometimes there are money prizes, or medals or trophies.

Instrumental, Piano, Choral and Vocal, Speech and Drama, and the Brass Solos will be held in the older Latrobe Performing Arts Centre, whilst the Brass Bands competition and some School Group ensembles will be held in the newer Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, and Theatrical Dancing will be held at Kernot Hall in Morwell.
